Video: Liverpool smash Aston Villa with second half onslaught

Liverpool was comfortably in the lead after the first half in their match against Aston Villa. In a span of a little more than 10 minutes, they went from comfortable to dominant as Liverpool scored four goals in quick succession to completely smash Aston Villa.

Emre Can kicked off the scoring with a low shot just outside the box that beat Villa keeper Mark Bunn. Divock Origi scored the second of the bunch, only a minute after coming on for Daniel Sturridge. A few minutes after that Nathaniel Clyne added another as Liverpool had put the result beyond any doubt.

To add insult to injury, Kolo Toure decided to get in on the act to complete Liverpool’s quartet of goals. Toure’s goal came from a corner and was the only one of the four that came from a set piece.
