Video: Roberto Firmino opens the scoring for Liverpool, Aaron Ramsey equalizes

The highly anticipated Jurgen Klopp vs. Arsene Wenger or Liverpool vs. Arsenal matchup got started with Liverpool stepping on the gas. The first 10 minutes were mostly spent in front of Arsenal’s goal as Liverpool just tried to break through. Finally, after Petr Cech saved an Emre Can shot, Roberto Firmino fired the home side ahead.

The lead was short lived however when just three minutes later Aaron Ramsey got an equalizer against the run of play for Arsenal.

Whenever these two teams get together at Anfield it’s impossible not to think of their terrific 4-4 draw from the Spring of 2009. You always that if their next game is half as good as that one, you’re in for a treat. Well with two goals in the first 13 minutes, this game could very well be something special.
