WATCH: Jamie Vardy puts Leicester City 1-0 in front of Arsenal

The big Sunday featuring the top four teams got off to an incredibly entertaining start. 3rd place Arsenal and 1st place Leicester City got things going and the surprise Premier League leaders got on the board, albeit in controversial fashion.

Right before halftime, Jamie Vardy won a penalty for Leicester. The replay showed that the call could’ve gone either way as a case could’ve been made that Vardy dived. He does trail the leg and makes a bit of a performance of it but I have seen penalties called for far less.

Vardy then went up and put away the penalty to put Leicester up 1-0 and provisionally up eight points in the Premier League table.

4th place Manchester City and 2nd place Tottenham play later today.
