WATCH: Liverpool get out in front early thanks to Coutinho and Sturridge goals

Liverpool broke out to an early 2-0 lead against Southampton in a fight for both to get closer to the top four. Considering Liverpool played in a physical derby match against Manchester United.

The action started when Philippe Coutinho scored from an incredibly deep range to make it 1-0.

Then Daniel Sturridge took his time in the box and struck at the right moment to give Liverpool a 2-0 lead. The nice fake out before the shot really made the goal.

And with that, the first half ended 2-0 to Liverpool.
