WATCH: Mesut Ozil’s great finish gives Arsenal lead

In a game where Arsenal needed to win to keep up with the top teams in the Premier League, Mesut Ozil took it upon him to get the Gunners on the board with a great goal. Normally assisting goals, Ozil found himself all alone in the box and Olivier Giroud headed the ball to him to finish the job.

Arsenal went up 1-0 over Bournemouth and just a minute later, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain made it 2-0. This is a welcome sign for Arsenal fans, who have seen their team struggling to score goals. Arsenal hadn’t scored a goal, albeit still earning two points in three games, since their 3-3 draw to Liverpool on January 13. This new sense of scoring for Arsenal comes at the best time because they must face top of the table Leicester City next Sunday.
