LONDON, ENGLAND – FEBRUARY 09: Michail Antonio of West Ham United (30) celebrates with Mark Noble (16), Dimitri Payet (27) and Cheikhou Kouyate (8) as he scores their first goal during the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round Replay match between West Ham United and Liverpool at Boleyn Ground on February 9, 2016 in London, England. WATCH: Michail Antonio’s volley puts West Ham up over Liverpool in FA Cup

After some great saves by Simon Mignolet and a couple shots that went of the post, West Ham finally got on the board in their 4th round replay against Liverpool.

Enner Valencia slipped through and crossed it into a relatively open Michail Antonio, who volleyed the shot home and put West Ham up 1-0.

As you can see, Liverpool’s defending on the cross, both on the pass and the shot left much to be desired. Four Liverpool players pretty much let Valencia through to cross and Antonio was open to get the shot off and score. Granted, this isn’t Liverpool’s starting back line but this isn’t a new thing for Liverpool.
