WATCH: Philippe Coutinho equalizes for Liverpool to force extra time in Capital One Cup Final

Manchester City looked like they were well on their way to winning the Capital One Cup. They had the lead 1-0 and didn’t allow a shot on target for the first 83 minutes. Manchester City’s first shot that they allowed turned out to be a turning point in this Final.

After Adam Lallana shot off the left post, the ball bounced directly to Philippe Coutinho. Coutinho, with an open goal sinked in the shot and put Liverpool level 1-1 to go into extra time. Coutinho would receive a yellow for taking his shirt off in celebration as he went to the Liverpool fans in attendance.
