WATCH: Sergio Ramos opens the scoring in the Champions League final

There hasn’t been much action for either side in today’s Champions League final, but Real Madrid has looked the more comfortable side. They have looked especially comfortable and dangerous on their set pieces. It was from such a play that Sergio Ramos scored to give the 10 times winners a 1-0 lead.

Real Madrid won a free kick which Toni Kroos took. Gareth Bale flicked it on with his head and Ramos poked it home from a few feet out. Ramos looked to have been offside, but the goals counted and Real held on to take their 1-0 lead into half time.

The Goal was Ramos’ first in the Champions League since his header leveled the score against Atletico Madrid in the 2014 Champions League final.
