South Africa Paid Warner “Non-Bribe” to Host 2010 WC

South Africa’s FA President Danny Jordaan now admits to giving Jack Warner and CONCACAF $10 million in 2008 to go to CONCACAF’s “soccer development fund” and not as a bribe to host the 2010 World Cup.

Jerome Valcke Reportedly Made the South Africa/Jack Warner Wire Transfer

Speaking of the $10 million, it was reported by the New York Times that FIFA Secretary General and essentially Sepp Blatter’s “right hand man” Jerome Valcke made the $10 million transfer from South Africa to CONCACAF. Valcke denies involvement and hasn’t been accused of anything yet. The indictment lists a “high-ranking FIFA official” that made the transfer. Because of this, he is not attending the opening weekend of the Women’s World Cup.

Chuck Blazer’s Parrot Taught to Insult Blazer By Ex-Wife

In some rather bizarre news (though knowing who Chuck Blazer is, nothing is shocking with that man), one of Blazer’s parrots was taught by Blazer’s ex-wife to mock him. From SB Nation, she taught the bird to say things like, “You’re a dope.”
