Golf’s hottest name in the game right now was quick to steal the spotlight Thursday in the Bahamas. Jordan Spieth, the defending champion of the Hero World Challenge wasted no time knocking in a hole-in one, getting it on the 187-yard par 3 at Albany Championship Golf Course.

Spieth is just 22-years-old, and we could be seeing a lot more of this as the years go along. He told the PGA Tour website this week he thinks 2016 could be a better year.
“I can certainly improve in spots of my game,” Spieth said Wednesday from the Hero World Challenge. “I believe I can get better certainly in different specific parts of my game and I can grow mentally as a player as well. I don’t know if it will lead into the same kind of accolades that this year brought forth, but I can certainly finish next season feeling like I’m a better player than I was in 2015, and if that’s the case, wins will fall my way.”
Spieth has long been viewed as a golfer ahead of his time, but with him talking already like it’s 2016 and sinking tee shots in December, the rest of the PGA Tour might want to stay out of his way next year.
