If you’ve been to a Denver Nuggets game at Pepsi Center, you know that the team’s mascot Rocky loves to take half-court shots, backwards. On the Pepsi Center jumbotron, they even share his shooting percentage on the season for such shots.

Well on Thursday night during a break of the Nuggets’ game against the Memphis Grizzlies, Rocky had a special guest give the shot a try. Watch Colorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon make a backwards half-court shot:

Things went better for the 2014 National League All-Star on Thursday than they did on Tuesday, when he ran out of gas on the highway:
