Duct tape

During Monday night’s Brewers-Twins game at Target Field, a pad on the left field wall came loose. A Twins grounds crew member then raced out to the outfield and fixed the wall in the most appropriate way – by using duct tape.

I love how amused Twins left fielder Oswaldo Arcia was by the whole turn of events. I don’t think that’s what he expected to see during a Monday night baseball game.

Target Field can’t be falling apart yet though, right? It was just opened in 2010! Now, if this was the Metrodome, I could understand it – that place was seemingly held together with nothing *but* duct tape.

Hopefully, the wall got fixed permanently before Tuesday afternoon’s first pitch between the Brewers and Twins.
