Cleveland Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor is in his second major league season, and he’s already made his mark as one of the best players in the league.

The 22-year-old showed off his tremendous all-around game in his rookie campaign last season, finishing with a 4.6 WAR per Fangraphs, in just 99 games. The top 2015 shortstop WAR of 4.7 was put together by the San Francisco Giants’ Brandon Crawford… in 143 games. Lindor was basically the best shortstop in baseball as a 21-year-old rookie, and he’s followed that up with nearly the same production in 2016, proving the rookie season was no fluke.

Things have been going quite well for Lindor, but in the fourth inning of the Indians’ game against the Texas Rangers on Tuesday night, all of those good feelings were briefly sucked right out of him. Lindor ran out of the batter’s box on a groundball to second base, and quickly tripped over his own bat.

Video and gif evidence of a moment that is classic SportsCenter “Not Top 10” material:

At least he had a good laugh about it in the dugout.
