With two outs in the top of the ninth, Ian Desmond hit a two-run homer to give the Texas Rangers a 5-4 lead over the Oakland Athletics.

It looked like a heartbreaking loss was coming for the A’s. That was especially the case after the A’s popped up twice with the tying run at third base in the bottom half of the inning.

But then Khris Davis came to the rescue, and crushed — or, Khrushed — a walkoff grand slam with two outs in the bottom of the ninth, for his third homer of the game:

Quite a night at the dish for Davis, and quite a way for the A’s to come away with a win.

That’s Davis’ 11th homer of the season (one behind the AL leader). It’s also his MLB-leading eighth dinger in May:
