Stephen Curry is a glitch in the NBA matrix as he’s made a career of making the impossible possible. After the Golden State Warriors 108-101 Game 6 win in the Western Conference Semifinals, a scoring glitch was fixed, leaving gamblers scrambling.

Curry was credited with 29 points after the victory, but league officials changed his scoring output to 31 points after a late-game basket initially credited to Draymond Green was actually a Curry floater.

I’m not sure why that was awarded to Green considering he didn’t even touch the ball and it was a clear cut Curry basket, but the change has a big ripple effect. Curry’s over/under line in Vegas was at 30.5, which meant gamblers who bet on the Warriors point guard had their bets changed by the decision.

It leaves betting companies in tricky situations. Do they honor the scoring change and pay up the necessary money amount to gamblers who made the right call? Or do they stick with the initial outcome and say tough shit to those who bet on the score?

I’d hate to be screwed by betting on the over and losing because the NBA completely whiffed on a scoring decision. It’s pretty lame there isn’t an industry standard, but that’s gambling for you.
