Kobe Bryant recently retired from playing basketball. But, he apparently hasn’t retired from pranking people.

The former Los Angeles Lakers guard recently appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show and pretended he had a sweating problem. Ellen brought in an aesthetician who Bryant lied to about his condition. During this process, Bryant repeated everything DeGeneres told him to say through an earpiece. The aesthetician was easy going and listened to everything Bryant had to say.

Here’s the video:

A couple of great quotes from Kobe in the video:

“This right here is a jar of sweat from the last game.”
“It starts on my cheek, dripping down to my knee, it drips back up it goes upwards, it just keeps going up up up, to my ear, wraps around my neck, and then from there it’s like a shower.”

Everything from the 5:20-mark until the reveal at 6:25 was particularly fantastic.

Kobe deserves an award for how he acted in this interview, but maybe not an acting role like Shaq in Kazaam.

During the same episode of Ellen, Kobe gave his first post-game interview from outside the Staples Center about his final game and season:
