Donald Trump’s run to what looks like will be the Republican nomination has brought up the discussion of Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban possibly running for president one day. He’s said he doesn’t have the time to do so, but in a preview for Sunday’s Meet The Press, Cuban said he would listen if Hillary Clinton’s campaign came to him about being VP.

Cuban said he would “absolutely” listen to Clinton about running as her vice president. He added that, “She would have to go more to center,” as well as “If she’s willing to listen, if she’s willing to, you know, hear other sides of things, then I’m wide open to discussing it.”

Comparisons with Trump and Cuban have largely been made because both are billionaires with a television show.

Cuban told the Washington Post that, “[Trump] could come after me all he wanted, and he knows I would put him in his place.”

He also told the Post that a conservative politician had asked him to run as a third-party candidate to Trump and that if Kanye West ran for president, Cuban would run against him.

The presidential race this election year has seemed like a reality show, and although a long-shot, it would only add to that feeling if Cuban were to actually run on the Clinton ticket.

But don’t count on it.
