The second trade of the night belonged to the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Orlando Magic, where the Thunder sent Serge Ibaka for the No. 12 pick in the draft, Domantas Sabonis, Victor Oladipo, and Ersan Ilyasova.

The trade was first reported by The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski:

The trade is great for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Oladipo is a shooting guard that the Thunder could immediately start, and would provide great defense for a team that needs it. Sabonis is expected to be a young project for them, but has tons of upside after Ibaka has shown signs of slowing down of late.

The addition of Ibaka gives the Magic a veteran underneath the basket, but doesn’t add any immediate threat for the Magic to really change the landscape of what they are dealing with. It would be fair to assume that they aren’t quite done making moves tonight, but time will tell.
