One of the most famous things to ever happen on Twitter was when two dudes had a beef about Kobe Bryant that escalated all the way to the point where they agreed to fight.  In person.  At Temecula.  The California town has now become the symbolic home for all Twitter beefs that get to the ridiculous point of transitioning into real life.

Enter Rockets forward Trevor Ariza, who had his own Temecula experience after Houston’s season was ended by the Golden State Warriors in the first round of the playoffs.

Ariza sent a DM to a fan who called him out in November for taking too many pull-up jumpers.  I’m glad he doesn’t hold any grudges or anything.

The DM suggested that the fan give Ariza his address to they could meet up and settle their dispute, likely a calm and measured discussion about x’s and o’s, and advanced analytics concerning the value of mid-range jump shots.

Or not.

The fan shared this DM exchange with Ariza.

Things finally seemed to settle down with the two heading back to their respective Twitter pages to subtweet each other.  If only Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton had that option.
