It has become one of the hottest topics in sports as the days go by and the wins continue to pile up. The streaking Golden State Warriors are now favored to break the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls’ record 72-win regular season.

Early on in the season, the discussion was tossed around, some serious, some not so serious. But now, the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook’s prop “Will Golden State win 73 or more games in the 2015-16 regular season” has now the Warriors in favor of breaking the record at minus-160. Fewer than 73 wins is set at plus-140.

The Warriors most recently overcame the Miami Heat in a tough battle in American Airlines Arena in Miami. And although the Warriors are favored, it will by no means be an easy task.

The team is currently on the tail end of a road trip, where they have come away with just one loss, which came against the Portland Trailblazers and a red-hot Damian Lillard. The Warriors face the Magic on Thursday night, and will close up the road trip with a game in Oklahoma City against the Thunder Saturday night.

While the rest of their schedule isn’t necessarily terrible, they do have three games against the Spurs remaining, two of which will be played in San Antonio, one against the Clippers, a home-and-home with the Grizzlies, and a home-and-home with the Jazz.

Their current road trip is easily the toughest remaining part of their schedule, and if they’re able to come through with wins against the Magic and Thunder, it would undoubtedly be hard to pick against them, as they continue to bulldoze every team in sight.
