Some people do April Fool’s jokes better than others. In this case the people who run Florida and Florida State have some catching up to do.
The school’s Presidents got together Friday and “announced” that the two schools are merging to form one super school known as UFFSU, and they even made two snazzy videos for it. As noted in the second video, the new school would be relocating to tiny Perry, FL, a town right in the middle between the two.

One can wonder what the merged Florida and Florida State football teams would look like on the field. We’d assume Steve Spurrier would have a heart attack first, but even then the team wouldn’t nearly be as good as Alabama or Clemson. At least then the Gators might have a QB that can actually throw the ball down the field, which would be a plus.
