There are some feats that are worthy of striking a pose once you pull it off. Hitting a home run off a tee may not be one of them, but Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh plays by his own rules.

Harbaugh hit the softball field as Michigan’s softball team was putting in some work. Harbaugh being Harbaugh, the Wolverines head coach wanted to see what he could do. With a bat in hand and despite sporting his signature look with the block “M” Michigan cap and economical khakis, Harbaugh took a hack at the tee just in front of home plate and knocked a yellow softball to dead center field. Before making his way around the bases, Harbaugh did some good old showboating, even channeling Cam Newton’s famed dab.

We know Harbaugh likes hanging around the diamond, of course. When he took his football program down to Florida over spring break for spring football practices, Harbaugh got a chance to coach some first base for the Detroit Tigers.

Would it have killed Harbaugh to flip the bat? That’s what real ballplayers do.
