North Carolina State will be playing in their fifth bowl game in six years on December 30, as they take on Mississippi State in the Belk Bowl.

The game is being played at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, so it’s essentially the closest thing you could get to a home game, with NC State being in Charlotte. Naturally, when a team participate in a bowl game in this day in age, they have a tendency to sharpen up the uniforms.

That’s exactly what the Wolfpack did. With wolves.

The adidas jerseys are relatively normal; a traditional white top, outfitted with black pants. But the accessories are where the creativity begins.

The helmet is two-toned, with a metal looking helmet top that fades into the Wolfpack’s red tint. The cleats, gloves, and undershirt all feature a photo of a wolf.

For their sake, they better hope the cleats make them run fast like wolves. A wolf on the gloves, though? Excuse us while we spend the rest of the day imagining NC State receivers batting every ball with paws as hands.
