Even for their spring games, the Oregon Ducks like to get fancy with their uniforms. But the story behind the uniforms the Ducks will wear Saturday at Autzen Stadium is pretty cool.

Oregon will rock 1916 throwback uniforms, recognizing the year they went to their first Rose Bowl. One team will wear uniforms that say “Webfoots”, and the other will wear uniforms that say “Mighty Oregon”.

Here’s more on the uniforms, from Oregon Live:

The Webfoots will wear a navy base, with copper and gold accents, while Mighty Oregon will be a white base. Teams’ helmets feature decals on the back of the original Pacific Coast Conference.

And here are some photos Oregon released on Twitter of the uniforms:

Sometimes the Oregon uniforms are a bit much, but these look pretty sharp, and are a great tribute to their 1916 Rose Bowl team.
