Oregon State Beavers forward Jarmal Reid was ejected after tripping a referee that resulted in a flagrant-2 foul against the Utah Utes on Sunday night.
And the tripping was no accident:
This is bad. That is 100% an intentional trip.
SB Nation’s Ricky O’Donnell explains that Reid was mad he didn’t get a foul call on a previous play in the game:
Oregon State’s Jarmal Reid was given a flagrant-2 foul and ejected late in the second half against Utah when he tripped an official apparently because he didn’t get a foul call he thought he should have received.
Hey, we all get mad at officiating, but you can’t go around tripping these guys. You’d have to think a Reid suspension is coming from the PAC-12 and Oregon State should have their own plans to punish the senior regardless.
