Tim Tebow has a book coming out this fall all about learning to deal with one’s success and failures.

The book is called “Shaken: Discovering your True Identity in the Midst of Life’s Storms,” and was co-authored by A.J. Gregory. It will be available on Oct. 25, according to Christianbook.com.

This is Tebow’s second book. His first, “Through My Eyes” was a generally well-received memoir that came out in 2011.

Although his new project will touch on his rise to stardom in college, as well as his early successes in the NFL, it will mostly cover how the quarterback dealt with his decline and eventual exit from the game. The book will focus on how to maintain a positive outlook “when your dreams do not go as planned.”

The theme of the book is something Tebow is undoubtedly well-versed in. He enjoyed a wildly successful college career, winning two national championships and the 2007 Heisman Trophy while at Florida. He then briefly became a phenomenon in the NFL. He led the Denver Broncos to the playoffs in 2011, and stunned the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Wild Card round. However, his NFL career quickly fizzled out after that. He has not appeared in a game since 2012, and had his actual quarterback talent questioned heavily along the way. He now works as an analyst for the SEC Network.

Although Tebow’s failures as a player have been well documented, he still enjoys the support of a large group of fans. That group apparently includes Florida senator and failed presidential candidate Marco Rubio. Florida is looking for a new statue to represent the state in the U.S. Capitol’s National Statutory Hall, and Rubio thinks Tebow is a strong candidate.

Rubio is a 1993 graduate of Florida, so he is clearly demonstrating a Gator bias here, but Tebow racked up a strong resume while at the school. There is already a statue of the quarterback outside of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, so the sculpture artist would not have to look far for inspiration.

It seems odd that a man who might be getting immortalized in stone for the second time is writing a book about failure, but such is the paradox of Tebow.
