Down 7-5 in the top of the ninth inning against North Carolina State in the ACC Baseball Tournament, Edgar Michelangeli launched a go-ahead three-run homer to left field, proving to be the game-winner.
He savored the moment, to put it kindly.

Following the mega bat-flipping, there was some chirping from NC State players as Miami players met Michelangeli at home plate. NC State also had a showboating incident in the previous inning, so emotions were certainly hot in the moment. The umpire stepped in immediately to take control of the situation and quickly sent a warning to both benches to prevent a powder keg from exploding.
Miami will face Florida State on Saturday afternoon with a spot in the ACC Championship Game on the line.
Leave it to a player from The U to let the swag fly.
