This has got to be a first in college sports. The Cincinnati Enquirer reports Xavier University guard J.P. Macura faces misdemeanor charges for “knowingly pulling down his pants” at an Irish Pub on Thursday morning.

The sophomore allegedly pulled down his pants at R.P. McMurphy’s Irish Pub in front of several people. To make matters worse, Macura allegedly had a fake ID as he’s only 20-years old, just shy of the legal drinking age in the United States. WLWT reports Macura used the name “Myles Fox Morrisey,” on his ID – which is an excellent future nickname.

Macura was charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing official business, and was held in jail Thursday morning.

Macura was a key contributor for Xavier in 2015-16. He was named the Big East Sixth Man of the Year, averaging 9.4 points per game off the bench for the Musketeers. Macura appeared in both of Xavier’s NCAA tournament matches, scoring seven points in the team’s 66-63 Round of 32 upset loss against Wisconsin.

Xavier Associate Athletic Director for Communications Tom Eiser released a statement Thursday, saying the team was still looking into the allegations.

“We have been made aware of this situation and we’re working to collect all the facts.”

It’s hard to say what Macura’s intentions were by pulling down his pants, but he clearly was tipsy (to say the least) – not that it excuses his behavior.
