Just how bad have things gotten for embattled Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler? Apparently bad enough that fans are taking to their own obituaries to make fun of him.

One elderly Bears fan, through her family’s tribute to her at the time of her passing, made sure to let Cutler know she was not a fan of his. From the Chicago Tribune:

Elizabeth Porter Bowman, 78, of Northbrook, Illinois died peacefully January 9, 2016, surrounded by her children. Betsy was an elementary school teacher and later a tutor, but her passion and focus was being a dedicated and involved mother and grandmother. She was a woman of loyalty, integrity, opinion, curiosity and intelligence. A lifelong fan of the Cubs, Blackhawks and Bears (except Jay Cutler).

In a career full of moody behavior, interceptions and a failure to lead the Bears to the Super Bowl, Cutler has earned the ire of many fans of the Monsters of the Midway. Those frustrated supporters, like the late Ms. Bowman, may have a point with Cutler, as he owns a 61-58 career record as a starter and has a career 61.7% completion rate, thrown for 27,749 yards, 183 touchdowns, 130 interceptions and has a career 85.2 quarterback rating.

With names like Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery and Matt Forte surrounding him at various points of his career in Chicago it all adds up to a mind-boggling experience for most Bears fans, even in death.
