Are you angry about the participation trophy culture in which everyone has to get something even if most of the team/competitors lost? Well, you an add a famous member of the club now in Steelers RB DeAngelo Williams, as he showed on Twitter this week.

His daughter Rhiya got a participation ribbon at her school’s field day (which is still a thing apparently), and Williams returned it, because he told her if she wanted a ribbon she had to finish first, second or third. I didn’t know you could “win” at Field Day, but hey, to each their own.

“I hate this entitlement age,” Williams said. “We are the reason the kids are entitled right now, because of these participation trophies that we give them.”

Clearly she learned her lesson because at her next event she won, so she gets to keep the ribbon this time.

We eagerly await Williams’ parenting guide.
