Johnny Manziel has not updated his Twitter account since January 2 until today. And what better way for Manziel to mark his return to Twitter than by retweeting the one and only Charlie Sheen? Surely Manziel would have it no other way than to retweet a motivational tweet put out there by Sheen, who has seen his share of wild times on the crazy party train.
Sheen shared his message to Manziel on Twitter earlier this month (February 6), and it even included a copyright stamp for good measure. Hilarious. Of course, the message from Sheen is simple; it is never too late to turn things around. Perhaps that should be expert advice taken to heart by Manziel, who has opened the door for criticism over his choices by his own doing for years.
So, did Manziel have this particular tweet saved for a later date? If so, does he have a stockpile of them waiting for the right moment to retweet for some quick buzz? If he does, then I can’t wait to see who he retweets next.
Just days ago, it was reported Dallas police have surveillance video of Manziel’s alleged domestic assault. This was just the latest in a string of negative headlines for the former Heisman Trophy winner.
