Johnny Manziel

If it was up to Von Miller, Johnny Manziel would be a member of the Denver Broncos. That’s a pretty strong endorsement from the Super Bowl 50 MVP.

“If I had to make my decision on it, he would already be with the Broncos,” Miller said.

Miller admitted that ultimately it’s not up to him and it’s up to those in the Front Office who led them to the Super Bowl 50 title.

“I’m just going to follow those guys and you know have those guys take the lead,” Miller said.

It’s important to point out that Miller and Manziel both played at Texas A&M, but the two did not overlap. Miller played for the Aggies from 2007 to 2010 while Manziel played in College Station from 2011 to 2013.

On November 17th of this past season, Manziel was announced as the Cleveland Browns starter for the rest of the season. A week later, after a video surfaced of him partying in Texas during the Browns bye week, he was demoted to third string quarterback.

Manziel later sat out the Browns’ last game due to a concussion all while reports circulated that he was in Vegas instead of Cleveland that weekend. On March 11th, 2016, he was released by the Browns.
