She’s no Left Shark but, then again, who is?

Lady Gaga has been tapped to sing The Star-Spangled Banner before Super Bowl 50 between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers on Sunday. The “Poker Face” singer will also be joined by Academy Award-winning actress Marlee Matlin, who will perform the national anthem in sign language.

Gaga’s appearance during the Super Bowl adds some excitement to a musical line-up that many fans were left disappointed with when it was announced that Coldplay would be the halftime musical performers. The addition of Beyonce and now Gaga should make music fans feel better.

Gamblers are sure to be scouring the Internet for footage of Gaga performing the national anthem previously as betting on the length of the rendition has become a yearly tradition.

At the NYC Pride Rally in 2013 she belted the anthem out in two minutes and 13 seconds. That’s probably why the over/under has been set at two minutes and twenty seconds.

Last year, Idina Menzel sang the anthem in two minutes and four seconds, which went over the betting line. Alicia Keys’ two-minute, 35-second rendition before Super Bowl XLVII is the longest of the last decade. Knowing how much Lady Gaga “lives for the applause,” perhaps she’ll want to drag this one out to top that.
