It turns out Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is not the only NFL star impressing on the charity softball circuit this summer. Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. showed off his own home run hitting ability Monday night.

Beckham was participating in a charity event hosted by fellow LSU alum and current Giants punter Brad Wing. The event was hosted at Dutchess Stadium in Fishkill, New York, and proceeds benefitted the Ryan McElroy Children’s Cancer Foundation and other childhood cancer charities.

These blasts came during the home run derby portion of the night, and Beckham made sure the crowd got their money’s worth. Not only did he charge the plate Happy Gilmore-style, he also included some excellent bat flips in his routine as well.

Beckham was a multi-sport star growing up, but baseball was not one of them. However, he has quickly taken to the celebrity softball circuit. Last summer, his pitching skills earned him a minor league contract offer. His incredible speed, hands and leaping ability would make for a killer center fielder, and his bat might have some pop, too. But for now we’ll have to make due with the occasional celebrity softball appearance.
