Antonio Brown is back from his stint on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars, and — according to Brown — better than ever. The wide receiver joined Steelers OTAs on Thursday, and told NFL Network that participating the dance competition helped improve his skills on the field.

“I felt pretty good today, actually, my feet, I’m in shape, running my routes and dropping my hips,” Brown told NFL Network’s Aditi Kinkhabwala on Thursday. “I still have work to do on my finishes, but that will come. For the most part, I’m feeling good and can transition out of my breaks.”

“I don’t want to say it made me faster, but I feel like it has helped me a lot with my shock absorbers,” he said. “I’ve been able to drop my hips and get on the ball of my foot.”

For those following the Steelers on social media, it looked like business as usual for the All-Pro receiver.

Brown tied for the NFL lead in receptions last season with 136, and if he is correct in his analysis, NFL defenses could have even more trouble stopping him come September.

Of the four athletes competing on Dancing with the Stars this past season, Brown was the second-to-last eliminated. Outlasting fellow NFL star Von Miller, Brown and dance partner Sharna Burgess made it to the semifinals of the competition in week 9. He’s surely hoping for a better result this upcoming NFL season.
