It’s that time of year where we start to see pranks that NFL veterans pull on their rookies. On Wednesday, Minnesota Vikings rookie wideout Laquon Treadwell was the victim, on this birthday.

The Vikings filled Treadwell’s car with 60,000 bags of fruit snacks, and according to one of the caption’s of Treadwell’s photos, Teddy Bridgewater and tight end Kyle Rudolph were behind the prank.

It appeared that Treadwell took the joke pretty well, and was actually cool with having tons of fruit snacks readily available to eat. If he ever gets hungry while driving, he could always reach down and find a surprise somewhere in the car. That’s not a terrible trade off for getting pranked.

Now, while it might have been a nuisance to have to scoop out 60,000 fruit snacks Treadwell should actually be thankful. This could have been much worse, had his teammates really wanted to mess with him and open all of the packs and actually drop the fruit snacks in there to likely melt in the heat, destroying his car.

Also, he should be glad it wasn’t popcorn. That seems like the typical snack to but dumped into the cars of many unsuspecting rookies, and surely it leaves a smell, and perhaps some stains on the interior of the car.

Instead, Treadwell gets a lifetime supply of fruit snacks. That’s a pretty good deal for the rookie considering the alternatives. He’ll also be a popular guy in the locker room since he’ll be able to cure everybody’s sweet tooth.

But he might want to stock up on toothbrushes and toothpaste so he doesn’t also have cavities for life.
