Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar both had brief cups of coffee with the Minnesota Vikings before becoming superstars in the wrestling ring, and now another former Viking could be making a name for himself in the square ring rather than on the football field.

Babatunde Aiyegbusi was cut during Vikings training camp last season after coming over to the US to pursue an NFL career post his success in the Polish and German football leagues, but he seems to have found a home in WWE. At the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Aiyegbusi with nine others attempted to impress bosses to become the next Roman Reigns.

It was a great pleasure to meet and learning from a living legend Mr. Johnny Saint! #nxt #babs #legend #wwe

Aiyegbusi is a man mountain that might even be able to challenge Andre the Giant (though not quite). He stands 6’9” and weighs 345 pounds.

If Lesnar and Reigns can do it, why not another failed NFL player, this time from Poland? Vince McMahon could think up some great stories for Aiyegbusi to embody. He probably wouldn’t have the chops to be in The New Day, but then again, who does?

Maybe 400-pound LaQuan McGowan better hope he gets drafted by the Vikings.
