On Monday night at SAP Center, Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick made as ridiculous of a paddle save as you’ll see in the NHL this year.

Watch Quick use his stick to incredibly deny the San Jose Sharks’ Logan Couture of a goal in the final seconds of the second period:

The veteran Kings goaltender has made a lot of ridiculous saves in his career, but that one has to be one of his best.

Somehow, the Sharks actually went on to score four goals against Quick on this night, and came away with a 5-2 victory (one goal was an empty-netter) over the Kings.
