When Chicagoland Speedway hosts a Sprint Cup Series race later this year, expect there to be some turtle power.
The Chicago race track will partner with Nickelodeon for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 400 and Danica Patrick will be getting in on the turtle love with a specially-designed car for the race.
Unfortunately for fans of the Ninja Turtles, Patrick will not be driving a souped-up Turtle van. However, she will be riding in a car painted for the event featuring the turtles and April O’Neil. One can only hope Patrick does her part to keep in line with the theme and wears a banana yellow speed suit.

The partnership for the race is Nickelodeon’s latest attempt to help advertise their ongoing series of TMNT programming, which has been a hit for them since acquiring the broadcast rights to the beloved franchise. Recently Nickelodeon aired an episode that featured the return of the 1980s TMNT with original voices.
Also, since we’re talking TMNT, this is obligatory…
