Louis C.K. isn’t just a pretty face after all.

The comedian, author, and actor appeared on Jeopardy! for Power Players Week, which included him and 14 other writers and pundits in Washington, D.C. Each player was trying to win for the charity of their choice.

It might have been easy to write Louis off. He went up against CNN’s Kate Bolduan and The Washington Post’s Jonathan Capehart.

Worried about embarrassing himself, C.K. took the gig very seriously and while he laughed and mugged for most of the match-up, he was able to find himself in prime position in time for Final Jeopardy! He kept his bet low but it was still enough to eek out a victory and earn $50,000 for the Fistula Foundation, which helps women suffering from obstetric fistulas living in low-resource countries or in places where they can’t get medical help.

Congrats to Louis C.K. for proving that he can hang with the pundits and for raising awareness for a little known organization trying to do some good.
