WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart announced this week he is battling prostate cancer. That news compelled Madison Square Garden, a venue where Hart wrestled many times, to show its support.

Madison Square Garden posted a tweet showing its support of Hart, who won the world heavyweight title five times in the WWF and twice in WCW. In the WWE, he was a five-time U.S. heavyweight championship. On Instagram, the MSG staff shared a message saying they stand alongside him in his latest fight.

Madison Square Garden isn’t alone in public support for the Canadian WWE star, as many wrestlers from the past and present showed support on Twitter for the 58-year-old, who retired in 2000.

I think we all share the sentiment displayed by MSG and hope Hart wins his battle.
