McGregor-Mayweather mural

Conor McGregor has spoken before about the importance of visualizing success, and he’s taking that to a whole new level while training for his August fight against Floyd Mayweather. The UFC fighter has decorated the wall of his gym with a giant mural of him mashing Mayweather’s face with a straight left in an apparent knockout blow.

Almost all of the wagers in Las Vegas so far have picked McGregor to win the fight, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. As of Monday night, the Westgate sports book line had already moved from Mayweather -2,500 to -700, and it’s expected to go even lower. We know McGregor has been taking his boxing training seriously, but this is still his boxing debut against one of the greatest defensive fighters of all time.

Many people feel McGregor needs to land a knockout blow to win this highly anticipated bout. We’ll see if this visualization helps him get there.
