Boxer Floyd Mayweather and non-boxer Conor McGregor announced earlier this year that they will square off in the right on August 26, in a fight that promises to net both fighters massive paydays.

The sponsorship asking price confirms that.

According to ESPN, UFC is asking for $10 million for the title sponsor of the fight, which is almost double what the title sponsor paid for the last fight of the century of the year, Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao.

The benchmark numbers to sponsor the fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor have been set, with the asking price for the title sponsor of the Aug. 26 fight at $10 million.

WME/IMG, owners of the UFC, sent out a proposal to companies to gauge their interest in sponsoring elements of the fight, which ESPN has obtained.

The $10 million would nearly double boxing’s largest single-fight sponsorship, the $5.6 million that Tecate paid for Mayweather-Pacquiao in May 2015.

The Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, which Mayweather won by unanimous decision, was a major letdown and quite boring, despite the intense build-up. This fight has an even greater build-up, but it’s hampered by the fact that McGregor, despite being a very good UFC fighter, isn’t actually a boxer and will be fighting Mayweather at his own sport.

That said, so many people will tune in, it might be worth it for the company that ends up shelling out $10 million.
