Back in 2009, before Oklahoma City Thunder’s James Harden even set foot on an NBA court, Harden patterned his game after San Antonio Spurs’ Manu Ginobili.
And like Manu, Harden has become an integral cog off the bench for the Thunder. Also like Manu, he is an NBA Sixth Man of the Year award winner who would start for almost any other team. But now the comparison is complete.
Ginobili, who has a reputation as one of the NBA’s best floppers, and Harden faced off in the fourth quarter of Game One of the Western Conference Finals as the Spurs were on the offensive end when an epic flop-off occurred.
Check out the two best sixth men in the NBA try to sell the foul but in true fashion, Manu’s flop was enough to get the call. Guess Harden still has a ways to go to be a complete sixth man like Ginobili.
