I’m not even sure if Buddy the Elf would find this acceptable, but Jo Snow Syrups in Chicago has created a pickle-peppermint snow cone.

As Chicago Magazine explains, Jo Snow Syrups owner Melissa Yen recently saw an article about a “peppermint stick and pickle snack” — so we’re also as curious how that became a thing — being sold in Chicago, and had already been considering a snow cone featuring pickles.

So, Yen then decided to throw some peppermints into the mix, and you have a pickle-peppermint snow cone. Specifically, the pickle-peppermint snow cone features shaved ice, chopped pickles, pickle juice, cherry syrup, and crushed peppermints.

The pickle-peppermint snow cone is being sold for $4 every Sunday this summer in Chicago at the Logan Square Farmers Market.
