Hooters is about to try something entirely new – for them, at least. The popular restaurant chain is known for its wings and waitresses is preparing to open up an alternate option to fill your wing cravings with Hoots, which will employ men as waiters to go alongside waitresses.

The Hoots experience will be more trimmed down with a one-page menu offering the most popular food options from Hooters and will aim to deliver a quicker dining experience. This is designed to be more in the mold of options like Panera Bread and Chipotle to offer a more streamlined dining experience with the signature Hooters flavor for those who are looking for a quicker meal. Hoots will also feature a full service bar, but diners will have to order their food and beverages from a counter.

And then there’s the staff of the restaurant, which will be a bit different from what you’re used to at Hooters.

One thing customers won’t be seeing at Hoots: the iconic Hooters uniform of orange shorts and tight white tank tops that helped earn the chain distinction as a “breastaurant.” Spokeswoman Lizz Harmon said that the Hoots concept will eschew the revealing outfits, and will also feature both male and female servers at the counter.

The first Hoots will open doors in Cicero, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, in February. If this is successful, you may soon see a Hoots coming your way soon enough.
