You like fried chicken. You like pizza. So why wouldn’t you want to try KFC’s new Chizza?
In a world where combining foods is always cooking up new options sure to bust your gut, like a chalupa made out of fried chicken, KFC is putting together the combination of its signature fried chicken and pizza in hopes of satisfying all of your cravings in one bite. The successor to KFC’s Double Down is The Chizza, a personal-sized pizza with a crust made out of fried chicken. But if you want to sink your teeth into this new menu item, grab your passport. For now, The Chizza is only available in Asia.

The pizza, er — chizza — is still essentially a personal-pan pizza with the traditional fixings with mozzarella cheese and pizza sauce with a slice of ham and pineapple slathered in KFC’s special cheese sauce. (Yummy.) There is apparently an option to get a more traditional topping like pepperoni on your chizza too, although the combination of fried chicken, ham and pineapple sounds delightful.

For now, there is no timeline for seeing this menu item pop up at your local KFC location in North America, but it may just be a matter of time if it is a hit in Singapore. That should give us enough time to figure out if the proper pronunciation is “chih-za” or “cheet-za.” After all, how do you pronounce pizza?
This is an abomination and I must try it.
