We’re almost at the time of year where even if you don’t like Shamrock Shakes (or St. Patrick’s day), you start thinking about drinking one. And if you did want one, you could get the basic edition of the classic, but more than likely nothing else beyond it. So if you wanted a half Shamrock, half chocolate shake for instance, you’d probably get a few weird looks from behind the counter. Until now, that is, because McDonald’s has heard your clarion calls for change.

According to the Chicago Tribune, McDonald’s will now offer that franken-shake starting this coming Tuesday, along with three other new concoctions involving Shamrock syrup. Those new variations are Shamrock syrup thrown into hot chocolate, mocha, and chocolate frappe drinks, because the audience demanded it, I guess.

“McDonald’s is on a journey to be better and part of that journey is a commitment to evolving our food and beverage offerings,” Jeanette DeBartolo, a McDonald’s spokeswoman, wrote in an email Friday. “McDonald’s changes have touched our food and restaurant experience to better meet the changing needs of our customers.”

So if you needed something to chase down your Grand Mac (better known as a bigger Big Mac), McDonald’s has you covered in more ways than one.
