Pizza Bikini

We get it: Americans love pizza. We’ve even started making pizza ice cream, and then using said ice cream as a topping on actual pizza.

But now Villa Italian Kitchen is turning from food to fashion with a special, custom-fitted pizza bikini for National Bikini Day on Wednesday. This isn’t just a pizza pattern. It’s the real deal. Homemade dough, mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce and pepperoni.

And you can have your own for just … $10,000??

All pizza. Not a single stitch of fabric. Here’s what a spokesperson told the Huffington Post about their product:

“The Pizza-Kini was custom fit to our model so there was no need for any fabric to be included,” a representative for Villa Italian Kitchen said via email (though we’re admittedly a bit skeptical). “The custom fitting is why the price tag is so high, we want to ensure the Pizza-Kini is perfectly fit to the body it’s on so it stays in place. We use a pizza dough braiding that goes around the bust and waist of the model, baked in to the pizza slices, holding the suit together.”

Just imagine how all that cheese will smell after you’ve been laying out in the sun for hours. And that’s before you even factor in the sweat and pee (probably).

If you like the idea but don’t have $10,000 to throw around, we suggest picking up a ball of twine and four slices from your local pizzeria. Get creative.
