Naked Chicken Chalupa

If you have yet to sink your teeth into Taco Bell’s naked chicken chalupa, you may want to make your way to your nearest Taco Bell soon. The limited time offer is about to expire on the naked chicken chalupa.

Taco Bell will begin phasing out the Naked Chicken Chalupa — essentially a taco using spicy fried chicken as a shell — and pull the item off the menu entirely sometime next month. No exact date for the end of the Naked Chalupa menu removal has been confirmed, so it is advised you get there now while you still can. For an item that first hit stores in January, that feels like a short lifespan for the product.

This is not an indication the item was not a hit with customers, as Twitter shows there are plenty of people who love the Naked Chicken Chalupa…

The reality is the Naked Chicken Chalupa was always intended to be a limited time offer, and that the shelf life of the product is right on the level with past limited time offers from Taco Bell and is similar to the runs other menu items at other places tend to have.
